A Unique Prayer for Every Beloved Spouse... (Rewritten 20th Jan 2023)

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for gifting me with this precious partner, whose presence fills my heart with joy and gratitude. I ask that today, you guard and protect them as they go about their day. Keep them safe in every moment whether on the road or in a world that can be so unpredictable. When they face challenges, please shield them in the peace and strength of your love, surrounding them with your unwavering protection.

Guide their thoughts and actions as they connect with others today. May they carry kindness, focus, and warmth in every interaction. Help us both to walk closely with your Spirit, shaping our relationship with love, patience, and understanding as we grow together and reach out to those around us.

In times when they feel anything less than the beautiful, strong, and capable soul they are, remind them of their true worth in you. Help them to seek you for strength, for direction, and to find their deepest fulfilment in your presence. Draw them near to you, to find peace and inspiration through time spent with you.

Thank you for the friendships that enrich their life and for those who encourage and uplift them. Surround them with people who bring wisdom and joy, and who remind them of the blessings they bring to others. Continue to nurture their heart for service, for our community, and for the people you place in their lives.

Guide us to love each other well in every way spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Help us to see each other as blessings, to build each other up, and to deepen our bond with words, actions, and respect.

Please shape me into the partner they need, giving me the strength to support, appreciate, and grow alongside them. Grant me wisdom and humility, so that I may lead and serve with a heart like yours. Let me cherish and uplift them, and may I never take for granted the privilege of walking through life with this incredible person by my side.

Help me to live each day with gratitude for our time together. Thank you for allowing me to love them, to learn through them, and to know you more deeply because of the bond we share.
