Today, let’s pray for all families in which spouses are separated. Let’s ask God to bring healing, peace, and forgiveness to all families suffering as a result of spousal separation.

Here are the prayers for today:

Day 1 - Prayer for Broken Families

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 

Amen.

Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for the gift of family life. We ask You to bless all families and to especially assist all families who are suffering because of brokenness.

You always intended for families to be a reflection of the love between the Persons of the Blessed Trinity. You wish for marriages to be strong and family life to be peaceful. But because of sin in our fallen world, many marriages falter and spouses sometimes separate.

Please pour out Your grace on all broken families, and we particularly ask You today to assist all families suffering as a result of spousal separation!

Help us to turn to You in all of our trials and needs each day. Help us to grow in our trust in You at every opportunity in our lives.

And I especially ask in this novena (mention your intentions here).

Lord, hear our prayers!
