Peace be with you!

Today, let’s pray for all children who must grow up without a mother. Let’s ask God to pour out His assistance and grace on all children who do not have the benefit of motherly love to shape their formative years.

Here are the prayers for today:

Day 5 - Prayer for Broken Families

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 

Amen.

Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for the gift of family life. We ask You to bless all families and to especially assist all families who are suffering because of brokenness.

You have blessed us greatly by giving us the love of mothers in our lives. You have designed mothers to play a special and important role in the formation and upbringing of children in the family. When children are not able to grow up with a mother, they often suffer greatly.

Please pour out Your grace on all broken families, and we particularly ask You today to assist all children who grow up without a mother!

Help us to grow in virtue and holiness even in the midst of suffering and trials. Help us to grow closer to You each day of our lives.

And I especially ask in this novena (mention your intentions here).

Lord, hear our prayers!
