Today, let’s pray for all families in which spouses are contemplating divorce. Let’s ask God to bring peace, healing, and forgiveness to all families that are suffering from such a deep conflict between spouses.

Here are the prayers for today:

Day 2 - Novena for Broken Families

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 

Amen.

Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for the gift of family life. We ask You to bless all families and to especially assist all families who are suffering because of brokenness.

You intend for marriage to be a loving union that lasts a lifetime between two spouses. You will our family life to be a reflection of the love of the Blessed Trinity, and the gift of familial love is a great good. When men and women choose to separate permanently through divorce, it is a tragic and broken situation. 

Please pour out Your grace on all broken families, and we particularly ask You today to assist all families suffering as a result of spouses contemplating divorce!

Help us to grow in all virtues necessary to live a holy life. Help us to strive to imitate You more closely each day.

And I especially ask in this novena (mention your intentions here).
