Today, let’s pray for all children who are suffering as a result of spouses fighting for custody. Let’s ask God to pour out His grace and assistance on all children who suffer from their parents fighting for custody.

Here are the prayers for today:

Day 6 - Prayer for Broken Families

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. 

Amen.

Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for the gift of family life. We ask You to bless all families and to especially assist all families who are suffering because of brokenness.

You wish for all families to be full of love, holiness, and unity. Because of sin, brokenness and disunity can enter the family and a lot of suffering can result. When spouses divorce, the process of deciding who should care for the children is often painful and difficult for many children.

Please pour out Your grace on all broken families, and we particularly ask You today to assist all children who suffer as their parents fight for custody!

Help us to rely on You more fully in all of our struggles and sufferings. Help us to grow closer to You each day, no matter what difficulties we might be facing.

And I especially ask in this novena (mention your intentions here).

Lord, hear our prayers!
